OCCUPANCY LIGHTING CONTROL
Tishman Research developed the first generation of infrared-based lighting control that senses the infrared pattern of human movement to turn lights on when a space is occupied and turn them off when it is not occupied.
After bringing the product to market in a number of landmark building projects such as the World Trade Center and the Dolphin and Swan hotels at EPCOT Center, Tishman joined forces with United Technologies to expand to global markets. Today the technology has become ubiquitous.
